General questions about MTTs

Click here to visit our online store to see what models are available. Currently, the available models are the MTT-154 and the MTT-111. The 154 model can be paired with a second machine in a side-by-side or snake configuration.

With the original ratio, the three MTT models have a maximum speed of 18 km/h. By changing the secondary pinion (optional, 5 minutes to replace) the maximum speed can increase to 25 km/h. If you need greater torque (mountains, heavy loads, etc.) a smaller pinion will maximize battery life. By using a smaller pinion, the maximum speed may be limited to 10 km/h.

Currently, MTTs can cross small rivers (less than one metre deep). They are not designed to be driven on water.

MTTs can climb very steep slopes. The climb will depend on the traction available and the weight on your machine. As far as power/torque is concerned, you will definitely not be disappointed. We invite you to take a look at the technical specifications section for more information.

MTTs are off-road vehicles. You don’t have to register them in Canada.

MTTs are off-road vehicles. You don’t have to register them in Canada. As such, you cannot drive your MTT on public roads.

In Quebec, the minimum age to drive an all-terrain vehicle is 16. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must have a certificate of competence and knowledge. For other provinces or countries, you will have to check with the regulatory authorities.

Up to 3,200 lbs and 500 lbs on an MTT-154 rack. (There is more information in our technical specifications section).

Weight: 500 lbs.

Noise level: 65 DBA at 15'.

(See the technical specifications section on our website).

Every MTT has a unique key to prevent theft. You can also take the joystick with you making it very difficult to steal. Lastly, the battery can be removed, which makes life even more difficult for thieves.

The models currently available are in our online store. Right now, the MTT-154 (articulated) model is available in our online store along with its accessories. The 154 model can also be paired with a second unit in a side-by-side or snake configuration.

Our engineers are currently developing new capabilities for our MTTs. Visit our online store regularly to find new products.

Yes. A 110 V, 2000 W inverter is standard on the MTT-154 model and optional on the 111 and 131 models. Even in the middle of the forest, you can have more power than you would from a household outlet (20 A). Also, the sine wave is pure, so you don’t have to worry about your electronic equipment. A 12 V output is also available on the 154 model.

MTT-111: Up to 30 km (maximum with 1 battery).

MTT-154: Up to 60 km (maximum with 2 batteries).

MTT-154: Up to 90 km (maximum with 3 batteries).

(See the technical specifications section on our website).

Very little. Lithium-ion batteries need to be kept within an optimal temperature range for best performance. That is why all MTT batteries are equipped with an advanced thermal control system, so that MTTs lose less than 5% of their range in winter.

All of the MTT’s technology is encapsulated inside the unit. This allows it to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +50 °C.

It is not necessary to preheat the battery, but you can enjoy better battery life if you preheat it for 15-20 minutes. The battery is automatically kept at the optimal temperature when it is plugged in or charging.

Recharging

Use any 110 V (15 A) or 220/240 V (10 A) household power sources. Green alternatives are solar panels or a wind turbine with an inverter (optional). Batteries can be recharged inside the MTT with the built-in charger or outside with an optional charger.
